Hi, I am Dal Loiselle, founder of Evergreen Homes and Developments.

I am from British Columbia, Canada which is where our logs come from. I have been a lover of log structures ever since I can remember. As a kid I used to build 'forts' in the woods near our home out of logs. Then many years back a client asked me if I could build their new national headquarters out of logs. Until that time I only thought a Canadian like me would want such a structure. I have since discovered that log homes are the fastest growing segment of the custom home market in the US. So I decided we would offer log structures to all of our clients. It took many years of research and experimenting before we were satisfied that we had come up with the best value in log homes to offer you.

Ideal Construction & Development, L.L.C. was formed in 1996 to design, develop and build sustainable homes, commercial buildings and communities. We created the log home division in 1999 as a platform from which to produce a satisfying sustainable home envelope. Evergreen Homes is our brand of green built building envelopes. We are proud to offer you homes and commercial buildings that from their very inception are conceived to provide the best in green building design, materials and protocols. Our philosophy is to build with natural materials with the very least of embodied energy and adulterated materials. We believe that all the components of your home should be natural or at the very least non-toxic. We feel this is essential for your physical health and spiritual wellbeing.
